Sea S a L T Speech and Language Therapy Sea Salt Speech provides in person workshops, and supervision for speech pathologists.

Sea Salt Speech & Language Therapy is a mobile service operating in the Mandurah Peel region providing paediatric, and adult, speech and swallowing management services. Ciara-Lucy is a certified practicing speech pathologist and clinical supervisor with 13+ years experience working in a range of public and private settings across Australia with both children and adults. Ciara-Lucy is passionate about supporting people to meet their therapy goals and, building the capacity and knowledge of family members, carers and parents, and clients themselves. Areas of interest:

Complex communication
Assistive technology
Dysphagia and swallowing skills
Developmental, motor, and acquired speech delays and disorders
Developmental, and acquired language delays and disorders
Clinical supervision and development for newly qualified and experienced therapists

Ciara-Lucy is a registered provider with Medicare. Services can be accessed using all private health funds, Medicare care plans, and privately paid for. Ciara-Lucy is not a registered NDIS provider, however, services can also be provided to NDIS self managed clients.

Summer sunshine playdough and a beachy book on a 36 degree day! Play based speech therapy isn't always whiz bang fun cool toys. Its usually having a quiet one on one play with the child's favourite stuffy, a book share with target vocabulary thats familiar, and some gorgeous soft scented playdough provides me with along with some perfectly selected mini objects. It brings the book to life and allows me to integrate so many different language and communication goals into a simple sessions.

🎄✨ Holiday & Summer Break Update ✨🌞

As we head toward Christmas and the summer holidays, I’d love to update all our wonderful families about what’s coming up at Sea SaLT Speech and Language Therapy.

The last day of therapy sessions will be on Tuesday, December 16th.
The clinic will then take a break and will re-open for Term 1, 2026.

Over the holiday period, I will still be offering home visits and parent information sessions at , tailored to each child’s individual program and needs. Please reach out if you’d like to organise one of these supports.

Themed play! I love a theme, and being Irish, I especially love Halloween 🎃 👻 older children benefit from play based language building and problem solving too. For them, the play takes the pressure off and makes learning fun, engaging, and inviting. Oral language and literacy practice happening here today. This book has short spooky stories with comic style drawings and a lot of fart jokes. Standard. We use our play to recount the stories, work on comprehension and expression skills, and to have a bit of fun recreating favourite scenes.
