🦋 WISE MIND — THE SPACE BETWEEN SURVIVAL AND SELF
Some days I live in my Emotional Mind.
It’s loud, messy, and honest.
It’s where my pain lives, my fear, my compassion, my fire.
It’s where I cry too fast, love too hard, and react before I can breathe.
Other days I slip into Reasonable Mind.
I plan, protect, make lists, fix things, get through the day.
I hide behind logic because feelings feel too heavy to hold.
I survive by thinking my way through, not feeling my way through.
But somewhere in between those two extremes —
there’s this quiet middle ground called Wise Mind.
And that’s where I finally start to breathe again.
Wise Mind isn’t peace all the time.
It’s awareness.
It’s saying, “I can feel what’s happening and think about what I need next.”
It’s not about ignoring emotion or overthinking — it’s about honouring both.
Mindfulness helps me get there.
Not the Instagram kind.
The real kind — the one where you sit in silence and your trauma starts to talk.
The kind where you stay with your breath instead of running from it.
The kind that reminds you that being present doesn’t mean being okay — it just means being honest.
Over time, Wise Mind teaches you how to:
💚 Regulate without shutting down.
💚 Feel without falling apart.
💚 Think without losing touch with your heart.
💚 Rest without guilt.
💚 Speak your truth without needing to prove it.
It’s where your nervous system starts to trust safety again.
Where you stop reacting to survive, and start responding to live.
You don’t have to find Wise Mind today —
you just have to know it exists inside you.
That voice that whispers in the middle of chaos:
“You’re allowed to pause.”
“You can hold both truth and tenderness.”
“You’re doing enough.”

It’s the balance between what’s real and what’s possible.
