A look at a typical cupping session 🌿
Treatment often begins with v-cups applied to the back for around 5–10 minutes, allowing the tissue to open and circulation to increase. The cups may then be moved and reapplied for another 5–10 minutes, targeting the areas that need the most attention.
You’ll notice in this video how dark some areas of the skin become — these darker marks often appear where there is more stagnation and where this person experiences the most pain or tension. As the body recovers and circulation improves, these marks gradually fade over the following days.
Cupping is one of our most requested treatments in clinic for tight, sore muscles. If you’ve been dealing with stubborn tension, it might be worth trying!
