A look at a typical cupping session 🌿

Treatment often begins with v-cups applied to the back for around 5–10 minutes, allowing the tissue to open and circulation to increase. The cups may then be moved and reapplied for another 5–10 minutes, targeting the areas that need the most attention.

You’ll notice in this video how dark some areas of the skin become — these darker marks often appear where there is more stagnation and where this person experiences the most pain or tension. As the body recovers and circulation improves, these marks gradually fade over the following days.

Cupping is one of our most requested treatments in clinic for tight, sore muscles. If you’ve been dealing with stubborn tension, it might be worth trying!

How does someone find their way to Chinese Medicine?

For Adibah, it started with a fascination for human anatomy and the psyche from a young age. That curiosity grew into a passion for understanding the deeper connections between body and mind — ultimately guiding her to the medicine she practices today. 🌿

Teamwork in action 🌿

Here’s our Clinical Assistant Lisa assisting Paul with cupping in clinic. Behind every treatment is careful preparation, attention to detail, and a team working together to ensure you feel comfortable and supported throughout your session.

Cupping is a favourite for many of our patients — especially for relieving muscle tension and supporting circulation — and having a great assistant makes the process seamless.

🤝 We love seeing our team collaborate to deliver the best care possible!

“Acupuncture doesn’t force the body to heal — it reminds the body how.” 🌿

Healing isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about creating the right environment for your body to restore balance. Acupuncture works by gently supporting circulation, calming the nervous system, and encouraging your body’s natural ability to regulate and repair.

When the body feels supported, it responds!

✨ If you’re ready to work with your body — not against it — we’re here to help.
