End of a season ❤️

We got robbed a few weeks ago and I was so angry!!! I said things that were bitter and resentful and violent and not loving or compassionate at all - which im sure 99.9% of the population can understand.

But I was gently reminded of this....

When I was doing a therapeutic crisis intervention course in Newcastle , the lecturer was talking about " the tip of the ice-burg".
Now if you think about the titanic for a minute - it sunk because of an ice-burg!
There was no way for the crew to see just what sized ice-burg they were dealing with as all they could see was the tip of the thing!

The stolen bikes and bags, the home intrusions, the armed robbberies, the violence, and the game that this appears to be for most of the kids out doing this...are the tip of the ice-burg!

That's all we get to see, and we are being forced to see it when we are robbed or our homes are violated.

So let me challenge you to consider this :
What does the rest of the iceburg look like?

This time 7 years ago we moved our little herd into the Salvation Army's Transformations Center in Dooralong and ran "Sessions with The Herd" a therapuetic addiction recovery program.

The Grace team attended Grassbrook Walers Christian women's skillshare clinic last week and W O W was it an amazing time 🙌
The focus was on Mothers and Daughters and
we shared skills, devotion time, testimonies, good food ,laughter, tears and a fierce love of God and His incredible horses.
We brought equine assisted learning ( EAL) to the table and we looked at leadership through activitieswith the horses , and what it looks like to be a great leader.

I think I have found myself standing on more battlefields since I made that decision for Jesus 10 years ago 🙈
When you find yourself standing in the middle of the battle field remember: although He has allowed you to be there in the chaos, the battle belongs to Him and He has clothed you in the most beautiful armour. He wants you to stand where He puts you and be prepared to endure righteously.
The good news?
You have no righteousness of your own 😅
You can completely and solely rely on the righteousness of Christ and you can surrender the outcome to God completely!!
Stand where He puts you and say the words He gives you.
