It's that wonderful time of the year again... and just like you, we will be taking a short break over Christmas and New Year.

We will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Remember to book a 'script appointment' for your regular medication, so you will not go without during our closure. Alternatively, you can download the HotDoc app and request your prescription online.

We wish all our patients a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Have a safe and healthy holiday.

SFMC would like to advise our patients that our CARPARK will be closed on Monday 23rd June 2025 due to maintenance on the trees adjoining our carpark.

This will affect the parking bays along the boundary of the bush block only. Disabled bays and parking bays along the side of the surgery will remain open and there is also Rose Street parking if needed. Please do not park in the bays at the rear of the surgery.

The SURGERY will be OPEN as normal.

NEED A REPEAT SCRIPT OR REFERRAL?
If you would like a repeat prescription or repeat referral, please call the surgery and ask for a 'quick script consult'.

These 5 minute quick consults are only available in person due to your doctor having a medico-legal obligation to physically review the status of your medical condition on a regular basis.
​
Most prescriptions will provide enough medication to last until your next review.
​
The fee is $30 with no Medicare rebate. Pension Concession Card holders will be bulk billed. Any other medical discussion may result in a standard consult fee being applied.

Rural and remote women
Western Australian women aged 40 years or over are eligible to have a FREE screening mammogram at BreastScreen WA every two years. Women in rural communities receive the same excellent service as women in the metropolitan area with the added convenience of being located closer to home.

Approximate visit dates for 2025;
Pemberton - 3rd February to 17th February
Manjimup - 11th September to 22 October

• Bookings open now - Online or Tel. 13 20 50
• All women aged 40 years and over with no breast symptoms are welcome to attend

Block bookings can be made for groups of women at any mobile. For further information please email Health Promotion breastscreenwa@health.wa.gov.au.

Dates may be subject to change. If visit dates are not suitable you are welcome to book at the clinic in a different town or at any of our permanent clinics.
