Trust me, there's honestly probably not a question a doula hasn't been asked before.

And that's something beautiful.

We try and be that calm, safe space for you to ask everything and anything on your mind.

Sometimes it feels so embarrassing to ask, sometimes it's fear driving us to ask them.

Just know, as a support for you. No question is silly, no question is stupid.

And if we don't know the answer?

We know alot of qualified and specialised people to ask and gain information for you on your behalf.

There's nothing worse than being overstimulated, exhausted and trying to navigate latching a babe to your b**b in dim lighting.

Instead of guilting yourself for needing a break. Or needing to ask for help and then being bombarded with questions about bottle feeding.

Have a tin of formula in your cupboard as a contingency.

No late night mad dashes to the shops, no elevated arguments about what type of formula or bottle.

You prepared for a moment like this, and know exactly how to handle it.

You enter it with clarity and calm and now instead of an experience that may have upset you for a long time, it has turned into a moment of peace and warm comfort.

BEFORE I was a doula.

I worked in a corporate business. No face time with customers, purely clients and paper. Day in, day out.

I loved my team, don't get me wrong.

But I was missing something. I had experienced pregnancy losses, traumatic pregnancy and birth and I was depleted.

When I became pregnant with my second, I started changing things. Making decisions based on evidence and experiences and it led me to deciding whether I wanted to walk down the path of the midwife or doula.

I chose doula.

For many reasons, but the top two being that I wanted to support women and encourage them to be their best self, unapologetically.

So here I am.
