October is Breast Cancer awareness month.

This years theme is:
Be a friend. Tell a friend.

So now is the time to check your breasts and ask a friend if they have as well!
Blokes too. 250 Australian men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

25% women diagnosed this year will be in their 50s, so don't put it off!

It is easy to check your breasts. Use the flat pads of soft fingers to press into breast tissue with deep circular movements. There are a lot of lumps but a tumor will feel different. If you notice a change, get it checked out by your GP straight away. Early detection is key to minimal intervention.
