Spending the morning with some of my favourite people was well overdue.

The damage around Narrabeen Lagoon is not as bad as expected and they are currently working on making it pristine for Saturday’s marathon….😎🤩
There will be an early start at 5:30am for anyone expecting to take over 6 hours. Please let me know if you plan on starting at 5:30.
Everyone else please meet at Berry Reserve for a 7am start.
Weather looks great, sunny and 18-26C

On Saturday January 25th we will be running a marathon around Narrabeen Lagoon to raise funds for Gotcha4Life. This run is in memory of a 26 year old who left us last month, leaving behind a young son. 100% of all registration money will be donated.

The route will be 5 laps of Narrabeen lagoon running in a clockwise direction.
Start location is Berry Reserve, Narrabeen near the B Line car park and Tramshed Cafe.
Entries are limited.

Saturday January 27th Dee Why Surf Club

Hello runners,
We are looking forward to A COOLER day tomorrow, meeting at DYSLSC at 8am. The run will take you out along a bike path all the way around Narrabeen lagoon, back to Dee Why and along the coast to Manly, Shelly Beach, Quarantine Station and back to Dee Why. The course will be marked with chalk but please email me if you want a GPX of the course. I encourage anyone that hasn’t run with us before to PLEASE find a regular runner to stay with so you don’t get lost.
There are plenty of shops along the route for drinks/ snacks etc. and plenty of bubblers till you get to Shelly Beach. Please fill up water there for the section up to Q Station.
For any runner expecting to take over 6 hours, there will be the option of an early start at 6am. This is ONLY for runners finishing over 6 hours. IF YOU WANT TO START AT 6, PLEASE EMAIL ME. The chalk marker will be starting at 6am and NOBODY is to get in front of him. Finish before the chalk marker and you won’t receive a finish time.
