Creating a new habit is challenging. It required consistency above all else. But in order to have the consistency there needs to be a purpose. Otherwise why bother. Turning up for adjustments, turning up for training, going to bed on time, fuelling your body well are all great things to do but WHY are you doing them or not doing them. “But I Feel Fine…”
Four out of five people believe they can tell how healthy they are just by how they feel. But is that really true?

I had a chat with a client yesterday that really drove this home. He’d just come back from the dentist—first visit in six years—and was shocked. No pain, no cavities, his teeth looked fine. But under the surface? A serious buildup of plaque was silently damaging his gums and bone. Now he’s facing a long, uncomfortable clean-up process involving anesthetics, scraping, and everything you hope to avoid in a dental chair.

It got us talking about how health isn’t always about how you feel—it’s about how you function. Just like in dentistry, you can have spinal issues without pain. And by the time discomfort shows up, damage may already be well underway.

That’s why, as a chiropractor, my role is to help people stay ahead of the curve—through regular checkups that keep the spine and nervous system in top shape. You don’t wait for your teeth to hurt before seeing a dentist—so why wait for your spine to scream before checking in?
