Free antenatal classes are launching locally soon as part of a new pilot program and they’re all about supporting parents every step of the way.

Classes will run every Tuesday for four weeks. Commencing Tuesday 24 March from 6-8pm at Central General Practice - 38 Highett Street, Mansfield.

A great local initiative for parents and carers with little bubs in car seats.

Mansfield families are invited to take advantage of a free child car seat installation and safety check session on Wednesday 25 March from 10am - 2pm at the Mansfield Visitor Information Centre.

The Maternal and Child Health Service is supporting Kidsafe Victoria to deliver the Safe Seats, Safe Kids program locally helping ensure children are travelling safely and securely.

Correctly fitted car restraints significantly reduce the risk of serious injury in a crash. This is a great opportunity to have your child’s car seat professionally checked and fitted, and to receive expert advice on choosing and using the right restraint for your child.

Bookings are essential and can be made through the Maternal and Child Health Service on 5775 8537.

We are proud to be the hosting venue for the Mansfield Birth, Baby and Beyond childbirth education classes.

These are the first organised birth classes locally since before COVID, a wonderful initiative to help prepare expecting parents.

At this stage, the 4 week course will only run twice a year, so if you are pregnant jump on board now.
