Why I started Mindful Healing Toolkit
As a mother and a teacher, I understand the stresses that both roles bring. Over the past 17 years working as a teacher, I have seen an increase in stress and anxiety in teachers, students and their families. I myself witnessed firsthand how trauma and anxiety impacts families, when my son’s biological mother suddenly and tragically passed away. He became riddled with anxiety, which at times was so bad, I struggled to get him to school or drop him off. This is when I knew I had to embark on a journey to find a solution.
So began my life’s mission, which has taken me down the path of learning everything I could in order to find a solution. This is when I became to understand the importance of finding and learning different healing techniques. Using a powerful combination of a range of techniques, I was able to help my son overcome his anxiety and regain his self-belief and confidence. This learning has also allowed me to be able to help change the lives of those I have been blessed to work with, by creating powerful emotional shifts that are truly life changing and have a long-lasting impact.
I have also used this powerful healing to help improve my own health. As an asthma sufferer, using these modalities I have been able to decrease my usual 4-5 puffs of medication a day to only 1-2 puffs a week. By working on resolving the underlying issues that cause my asthma and using the powerful techniques I have learnt. I have also used them to help change my negative beliefs that I had around food, eating habits and losing weight.
