☀️ That’s a wrap on the Augusta Mini Markets for Summer! ☀️

What an incredible season it’s been. We’ve loved connecting with the Augusta community, sharing our participants’ creations, and being part of such a welcoming, vibrant market atmosphere.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall, had a chat, supported our work, and purchased handmade goodies. Every conversation and every purchase helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities for the people we support. 💛

But don’t worry we’re not done yet…

In-Tune Support Services is exploring social and connection activities for people with disability in the Southwest, including speed dating events and learning workshops. We know many people are interested in making friends, dating, and feeling more connected, and we want to shape these activities with the community.

This short survey helps us understand:
-Who is interested
-What people would like
-What support may be needed

Speed dating
A relaxed, structured social event where you meet people one-on-one for a few minutes at a time. It is safe, supported, and no-pressure. You can let the organiser know if you’d like to connect with someone afterwards.

Workshops
We are also considering short workshops focused on building friendships and relationships. These may cover communication, confidence, relationships, consent, and rights, and would likely run over a few weeks.
Important to know
This is not a booking, events are not confirmed yet. What happens next depends on interest and feedback.

Your input will help us design something that works for you and the wider community.

Finding a job shouldn’t feel like trying to squeeze into a box that was never made for you.

At In-Tune, we do things differently

💡 Customised Employment (CE) is all about building a job around the person — not forcing the person to fit the job. It’s flexible, creative, and fully centred on the strengths, interests, and future pathways of each participant.

Here’s how we make it happen:

1️⃣ Discovery – Who Are You? What Do You Love?

We spend real time getting to know the person , strengths, interests, energy, working style, the environments they thrive in.
This isn’t guesswork. It’s deep, person-centred exploration… and it’s fully fundable under NDIS.

2️⃣ Job Search Planning – Map the Pathway

Using everything learned in Discovery, we create a plan that makes sense for the individual.
We research real workplaces, meet employers, and explore creative options , even micro-business ideas.

3️⃣ Job Development & Negotiation – Build the Job

We work with employers and the participant to carve out a role that fits:

✔ Their conditions for success

In-Tune at Play in the Bay

We’re so excited to announce that In-Tune Support Services will be at Play in the Bay this year!

📅 When: Saturday, 29 November 2025, 9:30am–1:00pm
📍 Where: Signal Park, Busselton Foreshore 

Why we’re there:
• To celebrate International Day of People with Disability with our community. 
• To give our participants a real opportunity to showcase their crafts, sell their goods, and shine.
• To support skill-building in real time, with our team by their side — learning, connecting, creating.

What to expect from our stall:
• Handmade items crafted by our participants — come and check out their amazing work
• Interactive moments: our participants will be sharing their stories, skills, and creativity
• An inclusive, welcoming space where supporters, families, and community can connect
