It’s World Menopause Day today and we can all acknowledge that the world’s gone mad for menopause!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
⭐️ More information, more research, more knowledge – and it’s about time!
⭐️ Along with getting everyone’s attention, a growing menopause ‘industry’ has sprung up alongside the information and research. When we find ourselves in the midst of chaos, it is understandable to reach for supplements or medication to calm or fix the fatigue, mood swings, sleepless nights, or aching joints.
⭐️ I am all for getting extra help when you need it, yet the most powerful medicine often begins with how we live each day.
☀️🌿🌼🍎 Lifestyle medicine — to address food, sleep, stress, movement, and connection — forms the foundation of hormonal health.
🥦 A nourishing, whole-food diet supports the gut and liver, keeping oestrogen metabolism steady.
💤 Quality sleep restores hormone balance and resilience.
😌 Managing stress through being in nature, mindfulness, breathing, or gentle exercise keeps cortisol and the nervous system in check.
But it doesn’t stop there.
💛⭐️🙏🏼 Finding joy in the small things around you, challenging yourself with new experiences, unwinding in nature or with friends, and giving yourself permission to rest and be heard — these are powerful hormonal regulators too.
⭐️ They lift mood, calm the stress response, and reconnect you with a sense of purpose and vitality.
You are entering a new phase of life with different purpose, alignment, and connection to self – let the new you be born 😊
