The Australian Physiotherapy Association sends its deepest condolences to all those affected by yesterday’s events in Bondi.

We stand with Australia’s Jewish community, and we share in your grief.

Hate has no place in our society, and violence is never the answer. We condemn in the strongest possible terms the divisions these kinds of attacks seek to sow.

Whether it be in the way health providers approach their patients, or in the mateship we show each other around the country every day, we believe that our greatest strength as Australians comes from our compassion, empathy and care for one another.

We recognise distressing events and news coverage like this can have a profound impact on each one of us, and it’s important to remember that mental health support is available.

Women’s Health Week (1-5 September 2025) is Australia’s largest event dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all women.
