When we talk about stretching, we actually mean mobility and neuromuscular re-education exercises. It’s not just about lengthening tissue; it’s about teaching the body how to move with integrity, breath, and control.
Reformer Pilates is a great example of dynamic movement that can be done at a lower intensity to other workouts. Exercises also move your body through all planes of movement. Great for all ages and it can be easily adapted to suit individuals.
All of our stretch classes incorporate dynamic movements.
• Stretch & Fascia MELT - Mat
• Yin Reformer Stretch
• Somatic Reset - Mat
• Rhythm Restore Flow - Mat
Static holds can still be useful post-activity or for calming the nervous system, but they don’t offer the same adaptive stimulus or movement intelligence as slow, breath-led dynamic sequences. Static holds don't mimic movement whereas dynamic sequences build strength through range & movement skill, stimulating joint lubrication, global fascia movement & active engagement of the stabilisers.
Yin Reformer stretch for example, uses traditional yin poses with the added benefit of dynamic movement by utilising the straps and carriage movement.
Our Somatic Reset incorporates yin holds but with added somatic movements, breath work and flowing stretches.
The Stretch & Fascia Melt classes incorporate dynamic movements, fascia balls, static stretches & breath work to cover all bases and leaving you feeling lighter and able to move more freely.
Rhythm Restore Flow is our new class coming to the mat studio next week. Incorporating gentle, flowing breath‑led mobility with slow, dynamic movements using light weight balls. Each sequence is designed to restore ease, balance, and confidence through rhythmic motion and mindful somatic awareness. Set to calming music, the class invites every body—especially seniors—to release tension and move with comfort, joy, and spaciousness. (Kneeling is not required in the class).
Our clients often say that they feel like they float out of our classes. 😍
We have classes from 5am to 11am, 4:30-7pm daily.
