The Story Few Know
Aesthete Sunshine Coast was never actually planned!
It came from disruption, reflection, & the need to do things differently.
After an abrupt & unplanned departure from my last role, I found myself at one of the lowest points of my career.
I started again — working alone, in the most humble space. Borrowed rooms that were never meant to be a clinic, (I was immensely grateful). The attic ceiling was so low, no one could stand.
There was no glamour, no plan — little did I know this was the beginning of something meaningful quietly taking shape.
Tragically only a few months later, a long-term patient I care for deeply went through an unexpected devastating loss so profound it’s difficult to comprehend.
She came to see me only days later — fragile, silent, & in shock. She thought she needed treatment, but what she really needed was comfort, someone to just listen, to hold her, & space to simply exist.
That day changed everything. I felt so helpless in that moment.
I realised then that my responsibility and purpose extended far beyond what I could offer by myself at the time — that care had to mean more than just performing treatments.
I wanted to offer more, & do more!
I needed a purpose-design space and a holistic team who could support every element of holistic wellbeing — cosmetic, physical, & emotional.
From the smallest and modest repurposed space, Aesthete Sunshine Coast has grown into the two-storey, 4 spacious multipurpose treatment room sanctuary it is today.
A place where every detail carries meaning, and every patient is met with care that can’t be taught — only felt.
Our story isn’t polished or glamorous, but it’s real.
And perhaps that’s what makes it different.
We’re now a team of fourteen — each one kind, capable, and grounded in the same values this place was built on.
(Finding fourteen people who share the same instincts and depth of care is rare, and has been our toughest challenge to this day)
The beginning shaped us.
But what comes next will define us.
And in 2026, that next chapter begins.
