Teoxane Laboratory - Switzerland

I’ve spent the last few days diving deep into the science behind Hyaluronic Acid. Getting a behind the scenes look at how it’s produced and the quality control at the Teoxane laboratory in Geneva🇨🇭has been an eye opening experience. The level of precision and care that goes into every syringe of their product is exceptional.

A short break before stepping into learning mode at the Teoxane Academy in Geneva tomorrow.

From the moment we arrived here, Switzerland has felt effortlessly refined. Everything is aesthetically pleasing: the streets are immaculate, the pace is calm, and there’s a quiet confidence in the way the Swiss go about their day. It feels advanced in the most understated way - efficient, respectful, and beautifully considered.

We ventured to Mont Blanc via Chamonix. The journey itself was part of the magic scenic trains, soaring cable cars, and landscapes that shifted from alpine townships to snow-draped peaks. The higher we climbed, the quieter the world became.

Seeing snow for the first time was a moment I won’t forget. Not from afar, not through a window. Real snow in my hands, crisp air on my face, and views that felt almost not real. Standing amongst jagged peaks with France, Switzerland, and Italy visible from one place was humbling. It’s the kind of beauty that makes you pause, breathe, and simply take it all in.

Now, it’s time to shift gears. I’m heading into the Teoxane Academy feeling inspired, grounded, and incredibly grateful for this opportunity. Switzerland has a way of resetting you. Visually, mentally, and creatively.

I’m loving everything… minus the frozen fingers and toes x

I genuinely wake up everyday excited about the opportunity I’m given to help my patients feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin. Ageing is progressive, it’s inevitable, it’s a journey and I’m right here beside my patients every step of the way.

Last week I had the privilege of attending a cadaver course run by Dr. Lucas De Siqueira at the QUT MERS Lab. For those who aren’t familiar - a cadaver course involves studying and dissecting a deceased human specimen that has been generously donated to science.

This type of training isn’t compulsory, but it’s considered a very high level of education. It gives health professionals like myself the chance to deepen our knowledge of anatomy in the most detailed way possible.

As a cosmetic nurse, I believe ongoing education is of utmost importance. Opportunities like this allow me to continually learn and grow in my profession, and I feel very grateful to have been able to attend.
