Every life has its own story — shaped by family, friendships, work, passions and the small everyday moments that matter most. Helping a family reflect that story in a farewell is something I never take lightly.

In those days surrounding a loss, there is often sadness, but also gratitude. Gratitude for the life that was lived, the love that was given, and the people who gathered along the way.

For this Mum and grandmother, a cardboard coffin was indicative of her life - never much money to spare, lived with just the necessary basics and rarely spent any money on herself. To honour her, the empty cardboard box was delivered to her home and her
family spent an evening painting and
decorating the simple box and turned it into an amazing vessel of love.
