Finally hit 59.2 kgs today for the first time in almost 2 years using a healthy keto lifestyle. (Basically since I had to give up my regular exercise and weight training due to extreme pain from post viral syndrome). Woo hoo! It’s been slow, and not always steady, as I am basically not exercising apart from the odd walk to break up the current Sydney lockdown period. I am now completely over post viral syndrome and giving up gluten has been vital. Woo hoo! No more pain. Yay! Anyhow, an oldie but a goodie for breakfast this morning. Fresh ham, tasty cheese and tomato melt. 3 more kgs to go! If you want to learn more about keto to shed some fat, send me a message 🤩

Support your immune system and keep it strong by making sure your diet includes all the necessary vitamins and minerals that it requires. Selenium is is a trace mineral that is essential for the immune function. It is found in oats, seafood, brown rice, wheat germ, brazil nuts, mushrooms and onions, and in some meats. It's as easy as making porridge or muesli, your new breakfast several times a week. You can find recipes for pancakes made using oats and mashed banana rather than white flour. Get creative! Or try to make sure you eat brown rice rather than white rice with meals. Eat more seafood meals each week. Selenium is an antioxidant that works in conjunction with Vitamin E to prevent oxidative damage to cell membranes.
