After graduating in 2011, she trained across multiple specialties, completed a Diploma in Child Health, a Professional Diploma of Dermatology (Bond University), and was awarded FRACGP Fellowship in 2023 with the highest national score, receiving the prestigious Mary Mahoney Award.

Dr Nazia Begum is an enthusiastic and compassionate GP who is dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centred care. She has trained across various hospitals in Queensland, gaining valuable experience in both rural and metropolitan healthcare settings.

Her clinical background includes rotations in Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, and Paediatrics across multiple south-east Queensland hospitals. This diverse training has equipped her with a broad skillset to manage patients with a wide range of health concerns.

Dr Begum is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She is passionate about delivering comprehensive care and developing long-term relationships with her patients.

We welcome Dr Afifah Tahir to our team.

Dr Afifah Tahir graduated with her MBBS in 2003 from the prestigious Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women, Pakistan. She has been consulting as a General Practitioner in Australia since 2015 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Tahir enjoys all aspects of general practice and is passionate about providing holistic, patient-focused care. She has a particular interest in skin health and has completed a Certificate in Skin Cancer in August 2022. She also has a keen interest in women’s health, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
