I hope you have all had a good start to 2025.
I have had a few queries lately as to whether I am able to reopen my books. I have looked over my schedule for the next term, and sadly come to the conclusion that I cannot open my books at this time.
I’ve had over 300 clients referred to me since starting my business. Obviously not all of these clients are current, however many need regular reviews and do come back to me for blocks of therapy. I need to be able to provide a good service to these existing clients, without spreading myself too thin.
When looking at my schedule, I can see that I have no availability for clients requiring regular/ongoing therapy appointments. If you are/have a client who requires a one off swallowing assessment and mealtime management plan, I may be able to assist with this, but the current wait time would be 1 to 2 months.
If you are in need of a list of local SP providers, let me know and I can email you out a list. You can also use the speech pathology Australia website function “find a speech pathologist” to search for a provider.
