Sensory toys play an important role in supporting children with disability by engaging their senses and helping them explore the world in a safe and enjoyable way.

Our support worker Sahmara say's "I have a range of different sensory toys in my car ready as a regulation tool, assisting with easing anxiety or something for people to focus on when on long drives. These toys support with behaviours, mental health and just something fun to fidget with"

They can improve motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive development while also promoting focus, calm, and emotional regulation. Beyond development, sensory toys encourage creativity, problem-solving, and inclusive play, giving every child the chance to learn, grow, and have fun at their own pace.
