YOU Queensland will be closed for the Christmas period from midday on the 24 December 24/12/2025 and will return to normal operations on 5 January 2026.

October 10th is World Mental Health Day! 💚🎗

The official theme for this year's WMHD is:
Access to Services- Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies

"Disasters can vary greatly. In 2020, approximately 100 million people worldwide were affected by disaster events.
In the case of disasters, vulnerable groups can be under great stress, can face major challenges and may develop mental disorders.
Nearly one-third of disaster-affected people may experience burdensome mental health consequences."

This , let’s raise awareness about the urgent need for accessible, culturally sensitive mental health services in humanitarian settings. No one should be left without support when they need it most.

🎉You Queensland Turns 5!🎉

This month, we’re celebrating 5 incredible years of You Queensland — and what a journey it’s been! 💚

Since 2020, we’ve proudly supported young Queenslanders through School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) and tailored disability support services that build skills, confidence, and independence.

Over the years, we’ve grown alongside our participants — and recently, we’ve expanded our services to include Support Coordination and Support Work, allowing us to provide even more holistic, person-centred support. Whether it’s navigating the NDIS, working toward life goals, or gaining real-world experience, we’re here every step of the way. 💼🌱

From job readiness to community participation, from goal planning to daily support, we’ve had the privilege of walking beside a multitude of participants as they take bold steps toward their future — and we couldn’t be prouder.

To our incredible participants, families, support workers, support coordinators, employers, and community partners — thank you. YOU are the heart of You Queensland, and everything we do is powered by your trust, passion, and belief in what we’re building together. 💚
