You are warmly invited to attend our upcoming All Abilities Netball Day, hosted by ASTERIA, with a skills and drills clinic delivered by Netball Vic.

Date: Friday 27th March
Time: 9.30am – 2.30pm
Location: Maryborough Sports and Leisure Centre
Gillies Street, Maryborough VIC

The day will begin with a welcome followed by a skills and drills session run by Netball Vic to get everyone involved and having fun. We will then take a break for morning tea, before moving into netball games for the remainder of the event.

Participants can either:
🔰Enter a mixed team (minimum of 7 players), or
🔰Register as an individual and be placed into a team on the day.

A free BBQ lunch will be provided for all registered players.

Come along and meet Foxey Vixen, and go in the draw for prizes and giveaways on the day.

Information will also be available on All Abilities netball competitions in the local area, providing a great opportunity to learn about ongoing participation opportunities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a fun and inclusive day of netball, meet new people, and celebrate participation for players of all abilities.

The Maryborough Disability Expo is on this Thursday at the Basketball Court at the Community Hub, Nolan Street, Maryborough. From 10am-2pm ASTERIA Services will be in attendance along with many other providers we hope to see you there!

ASTERIA would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing customers for their continued support throughout the year.
The Maryborough and Bendigo Offices will be closed from Wednesday 24th December and will reopen on Monday 5th January. The Container Deposit team will also be taking a well-deserved break during this time.

ASTERIA hosted its annual Dinner Dance in November, with Grease chosen as this year’s theme. Participants, staff, and friends enjoyed a fun‑filled evening, with the band keeping everyone on the dance floor. The highlight of the night was the photo booth, which captured countless funny and memorable moments.

There was a lively dance‑off between the ASTERIA Bendigo crew and the ASTERIA Maryborough team, which brought plenty of fun and energy. The Bendigo team came out on top, proudly taking home the dance‑off trophy.

Our ASTERIA participants have been busy enjoying community outings this month! From a delicious lunch and playing pool at the Highland Society to an unforgettable visit to Jirrahlinga Chewton Dingo Sanctuary —where everyone loved meeting and patting the animals—it’s been a month full of smiles, connection, and adventure. 💛

ASTERIA participants had a fantastic, action-packed day at the Bendigo Show last Saturday! From exciting rides to exploring all the attractions, there was plenty of fun and laughter to go around.
