During my self-discovery path a few years ago, I started questioning the clothes, make-ups, lotions, shampoos etc. I was using and wearing on a daily basis. I was at a point where I wanted to do good for the world, but I didn't know how to. Then someone told me to just look around myself, look at what I was purchasing and investing my money into. Pandoras box opened and realised that I can make a difference by paying attention to the items I was purchasing for my personal use. Step by step we can all make a change for the better and influence this world.

Self-care is a basic need, much like drinking water, eating food and living in a sheltered safe space. In today's world, Yoga retreats are widely spread; and depending on their length and location, can be easier accessible. These spaces are designed to promote a safe space, connection and healing. Sometimes even unlocking deep rooted blockages...

I had the honor to attend a five-day retreat at Suryalila in Andalusia, Spain (www.suryalila.com); organized by Christina, the Founder of Free Spirit (www.freespirit.co). It was a liberating experience, full of connections with like-minded souls, nourishing foods, amazing practices...just what I needed and more.
