Happy Thursday everyone!

An update from our Queensland team — Livability Care Australia was proud to contribute to the two recent expos in Moreton Bay and Logan, hosted by the Disability Events Community (DEC), as both the Coffee and Event Sponsor respectively.

It was a fantastic day and a resounding success. It was wonderful to see so many people in attendance, coming together to connect, learn, and explore the supports available within their communities.

Events like these play an important role in helping individuals and families become more informed about the services around them, so they can identify the supports that best suit their needs.

A big thank you to the organisers and to our LCA team - Alina Runcan, Mark Acierto and Vicky Whiteway, who came along to make the day such a positive and meaningful event for the community.

Celebrating International Women’s Day!

Today, we proudly recognise the incredible women who help shape the heart of Livability Care Australia. Pictured here are the amazing women in leadership who help guide our organisation with compassion, dedication, and vision.

But today is about more than leadership — it is about every woman who plays a role in creating the supportive and caring environment our participants deserve. From our support workers and coordinators to the families, carers, and community members who walk alongside us, each person contributes to the quality care that defines our work.

Your strength, kindness, and commitment continue to inspire us every day.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the wonderful women in our community. 💐

Happy Thursday Everyone! 🌟

Please join Livability Care Australia in celebrating our February Participant of the Month – Dinh!

Does the background look familiar? You guessed it — it was captured at the recent Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival! ✨

This moment is a proud recognition of Dinh’s continued participation in his cultural celebrations and traditions. It’s always special to see him embracing his heritage and sharing those meaningful experiences with everyone around him. His presence, humour, and willingness to engage with others truly make each celebration that little bit brighter.

✨ Celebrating Excellence – February 2026 Employee of the Month (SA & QLD) ✨

At Livability Care Australia, our team is at the heart of everything we do. This month, we are proud to recognise two incredible team members who truly embody our values in action.

🌟 SA – Mohammed

Mohammed sets the benchmark for what it means to lead with both heart and accountability. He approaches every shift with genuine compassion — not only supporting participants, but uplifting colleagues along the way. His strong sense of ownership and reliability ensures commitments are met, challenges are addressed proactively, and standards remain high.

What truly sets Mohammed apart is the way he empowers others. By sharing knowledge, encouraging growth, and leading by example, he fosters a culture built on trust, respect, and collaboration, and we are incredibly proud to have him representing LCA in South Australia.

🌟 QLD – Anitta

Anitta exemplifies what person-centred support truly looks like.

Her compassion is unwavering, and she consistently provides care with dignity, respect, and authenticity. What stands out most is her remarkable ability to see the person beyond the behaviour — responding with empathy, patience, and understanding in every interaction.

This quality is not only invaluable in her role, but life-changing for the participants she supports. Queensland is lucky to have her — and so are we.

👏 Please join us in congratulating Mohammed and Anitta for their outstanding contributions this month!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Here’s a quick look at what the Livability Care Australia team has been up to over the past week 👇

Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of attending the LCA ANCA Friendship Cup Grand Final for the 2025/26 season. In scorching heat and with the intensity building right to the final call, the match concluded in spectacular fashion — with the Adelaide Pakistanis Multicultural Group taking home the season’s cup in a thrilling one-point victory.

A huge congratulations and commendation to every player for their incredible effort — not just in the Grand Final, but throughout the entire season. The sportsmanship, teamwork and determination on display truly made the competition something special. It was an honor to have been able to sponsor this amazing event.

Thank you as well to everyone who came along to show their support on the day. And a special mention to Vicky Whiteway, who stepped up to deliver a speech and present the Grand Final trophy — despite it being a complete surprise!

We hope you enjoy these fantastic photos captured on the day.

✨ A Belated Celebration, but a Meaningful One ✨

While our Australia Day celebration may have come a little later than 26 January, at Livability Care Australia, Australia Day isn’t just a single day on the calendar — it’s about the meaning and opportunity it gives us to come together, reflect on our shared history, and celebrate one another.

We were so grateful to see so many people attend, and truly appreciate the combined effort from everyone who helped make the day happen. The office was buzzing with food, fun, and plenty of laughter — a reminder of how special it is when people come together in the spirit of community.

What ICONIC Australian dish would you have brought to your potluck? 💙
