Hi. My name is Greg Kalisch, and I have been working as a Funeral Celebrant , when needed for the last 7+ years. I am based in the Riverland, however I have had experience in working in other parts of the state as I grew into serving as a Celebrant throughout this time.
I love living in the Riverland, being close to my family and friends, and our Mediterranean lifestyle!
I believe that it is always a privilege to be asked by a family to lead a Memorial / Celebration service.
My plan going into organising a funeral service is to meet the needs of the grieving family, with dignity and empathy, incorporating the wishes of their loved one.
Music is a special passion of mine. I love the opportunity to discuss Music Needs & your Wishes with as we put a service together.
My services are wide and diverse, from being inside a chapel, or a building of choice, or outdoors to a special place of choice.
I endeavour to incorporate any spiritual readings that your loved one may have wished for and I have respect for diversity.
My interests in life are Horticulture, Gardening and yes, MUSIC, both playing it on the Piano, Pipe Organ and trying to learn guitar!
I work part-time as a contract Water Meter Reader, so you may have seen me walking around the Riverland in a Canary Yellow shirt with a stick! Still up for a quick G’day and a “brief chat!”
Motor Sport is a special interest, especially Dirt Kart Racing as a “Semi Retired”compeditor.
I’m in my mid 40’s. I don’t know how to explain that bit except for saying that I have learnt a lot, but still have a long way to go!
Life’s journey creates all sorts of interesting chicanes in our race track, and many people weather them in different ways as we go along!
