We’re so thankful for great friends of Capable Spaces, Emma Steele Occupational Therapy Services, for presenting on vision loss and the role of OT.

We were so happy to learn more about vision changes, AT to assist and things to look out for to help our clients live as independently as safely.

My favourite tool we would like to try=
Meta glasses which can be used to compensate for vision loss. But there were so many great tools to help, when we know how the impact of the vision changes function.

Now that was a fabulous day of learning and networking!!!
Thanks to BrightSky Australia for hosting SCI training for our local clinicians. Dr Ahmad, Dr Dennis, and Dr Mozer all presented beautifully as rehab specialists on AD, pain and spasticity, and Edwina Coloplast presented on bowel and bladder complications with SCI.
It was a privilege to come to the Be Bright training series, where locals and clinicians from further afield could connect. The room was abuzz with us all catching up! I think we all made some great new connections.
And thanks so much for my flowers to thank me bring my friends into the room- we really didn’t need an excuse to want to hang together 💐
