Priya is originally from Mumbai, India 🇮🇳

She has special interests in musculoskeletal injuries, dancers, runners and Pilates. 🏃🏽‍♀️🩰

Outside of work she loves going to the beach, watching movies and going to Pilates Classes. 🌊☀️

Her favourite food is Indian Street food, Mexican and Frozen Yogurt! 🍚🌮🍦

✨ WELCOME, PHYSIO PRIYA! ✨

We’re so excited to introduce the newest member of our team — Physiotherapist Priya Desai! ☀

Priya completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India (2022) and spent two years in private practice, building a strong foundation in managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. During this time, she worked closely with dancers and marathon runners, sparking her love for performance rehab and injury prevention.

In 2024, Priya moved to Adelaide to complete her Master of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) where she further developed her skills in:
✅ Clinical reasoning
✅ Chronic pain management
✅ Evidence-based treatment

She’s passionate about:

🏋️‍♀️ Strength & conditioning
🤸 Functional rehabilitation
🧩 Tailored exercise programs
and helping people return to what they love, stronger and more resilient than before!

She’s also certified in dry needling and taping, and loves combining hands-on therapy with movement-based treatment.

Our Story

Lakelands Physiotherapy & Allied Health is open from 7:00am to 7pm Monday - Friday to better suit your life schedule! We currently have two excellent physiotherapists who can help you out immediately. Alongside, the Physiotherapy team are Podiatrists, Exercise Physiologists, a Personal Trainer, Cosmetic Surgeon/Nurse and a Dietitian.

Within the Physiotherapist team, we treat neck pain, back pain, headaches, shoulder injuries, knee injuries, ankle sprains, tennis elbow, wrist sprains, recovery from fractures, rehabilitation after surgeries, as well as neurological and chest physiotherapy.

We offer individual Pilates sessions which are brilliant for general strengthening as well as helping with core stability for those with back pain. We can offer gym programs and hydrotherapy program set-ups, where our Falcon practice has suitable facilities for these programs and will even visit you at home if you need!

We also have a real-time ultrasound machine on site to better assess your core stability and pelvic floor muscles. Alongside a Shockwave Therapy machine used for pain relief and to cure chronic conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, tennis elbow, shoulder tendonitis, and other chronic tendinopathies.
