Hello👋🏼

I’m back from our little summer vacay but only for a short while before I go on Mat leave to welcome our new little bundle of joy earthside.

Please reach out if you want to touch base before I’m busy running after two little dudes.
I still have a handful of appointments left for returning patients 💌

That’s a wrap for 2025!

What a big year juggling motherhood and running a business but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This year has taught me to go with the flow a bit more than I’m used to and to savour the small moments because they really are fleeting - a child will really show you that!

I’m always grateful to be able to help so many beautiful people and I thank you all for always trusting in me and supporting my small business 🫶🏼

Here’s to a happy and healthy festive season 🥂☀️
See you all in the new year before our family of 3 becomes a family of 4 + Siz 🐾

Sharing some special news with you all - our family is growing and we are welcoming another baby boy in Autumn 2026 💙🪿

This pregnancy has definitely been a little different to the first, especially running after a toddler, but it has really made me appreciate what the human body is capable of. With the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from my first pregnancy, it’s also provided some sense of comfort and familiarity.

We’re so excited and grateful for this adventure, and to also be sharing it with our beautiful Banjo.

In saying that I’m also very mindful of those who are trying to conceive and how difficult it can be to hear pregnancy announcements.
If you’re on your conception journey, have experienced loss or any other obstacle to meeting your baby, your time is coming 🕊️

A wide variety of plant-based foods in the diet results in an increase in the amount of fibre consumed.

Fibre is required to maintain a diverse community of microorganisms in the gut.

Greater microbiome diversity can reduce the risk of inflammatory conditions, improve toxin elimination and support overall wellbeing and mood.

30 plant-based foods per week may initially feel like a lot but when you include your herbs and spices within that plus legumes, nuts and seeds it can be easier than you first anticipated!

Try recording how many different plant-based foods you eat in a week and see if achieving 30 is easy or not for you!

These are a great way to give our adrenal glands a little TLC.
🍊Vitamin C nourishes the adrenals and is a potent antioxidant for our immune system.
🍊Salt regulates sodium and fluids levels which can be imbalanced during periods of stress.
🍊Cream of tartar is a source of potassium, helping regulate the stress response and balance electrolytes.

I’M BACK!

After taking some much cherished time with our little man, I’m so excited to be returning to consultations again 🙌🏼

Motherhood has been such a beautiful (and at times challenging) journey. It’s reminded me how you can’t always prepare for what life gives you, despite how much you plan in anticipation.

I’m grateful to have had such a healthy pregnancy, and despite Banjo’s birth not being what we had envisioned, sometimes there are circumstances that are out of our control.

Our little guy is thriving but he’s had to go through a little bit in his short time earth side. He was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis, which is premature fusing of the sutures of the skull.
He had a surgery at three months to remove a portion of his skull to remove the fusion and allow space for the skull and brain to grow in the correct shape. He’s recovered really well from surgery and is now rocking his helmet for the next 8 months 🤙🏼

Was this on our cards? Absolutely not, we hadn’t even heard of the condition before. But that doesn’t mean we haven’t embraced every moment and just shifted what is our ‘normal’.

Normal looks different for everyone and it’s reminded me of why I love what I do. Tailoring treatments and advice to suit the person and their circumstances, not providing the same protocol to everyone.

I’m open for appointments again and can’t wait to chat to familiar faces, as well as new! Whether it be periods, pimples, or p**p; preconception, pregnancy or postpartum - I’m here to help!

Appointments can be booked via the link in my bio or send me a message with any questions 💌

Here’s to embracing life, health and happiness 🦋

Maternity Leave 🧡

This was my last week of seeing lovely patients before I start my mat leave.

My pregnancy has gone so quickly (as everyone loves to tell you) but it really is true!

I’ve loved being pregnant, which I know isn’t always the case for everyone, and I’ve made a conscious effort to embrace all the changes, growth, and learning that has occurred along the way - which isn’t always easy!

I’m excited to relish in these last few moments before our little family of two (+ 🐶) becomes three.

I’ll keep you updated when our little bubs arrives and when I’ll be back consulting again 🫶🏼

Until then enjoy these gorgeous snaps from our maternity shoot with our talented friend 📸

Why I recommend baths 🛁

Baths are something I often recommend to patients to help with a myriad of things, but the main reason is to help relax and restore the nervous system.

Taking a bath can activate your parasympathetic nerves system, the part of the body that’s responsible for relaxation. It helps to lower cortisol levels, also known as our ‘stress hormone’.

They also encourage the body to release neurotransmitters like serotonin, which contribute to feelings of contentment and wellbeing.

Adding epsom salts or magnesium salts to the bath can also improve our body’s levels of magnesium through transdermal absorption.
Magnesium assists with neurotransmitter production, as well as nerve transmission and neuromuscular coordination. Plus it helps with muscle tension too!
