Gate 22 — Grace
The Gate of Openness

Some encounters happen almost without words. A glance, a gesture, a shared moment… and suddenly the atmosphere changes. Connection becomes possible without pressure.

Gate 22 invites us to pay attention to the spaces between what is said. True attunement often happens there.
This gate carries a natural emotional wave. Some days feel calm and harmonious, others more intense or unsettled. That’s not something to fix, it’s simply human. When we allow our emotional rhythm instead of trying to control it, our presence becomes more authentic.

Grace is not about always being in a good mood.
It’s about staying connected to yourself, even when things move inside.

Tomorrow is International Women’s Day, a beautiful reminder of the quiet and powerful ways women create connection in the world - through presence, emotional intelligence, creativity, and genuine openness.

Here with my wonderful friend Amanda! When we meet, creativity simply flows. There is laughter, ease, and that special kind of understanding that doesn’t always need many words.

Notice the subtle tones in your conversations.
Allow your emotional waves.

❤️To my beautiful Projector daughter ❤️

This is one of my favourite photos of you.
Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real.
Hands on the steering wheel, eyes half-resting… and yet, still in motion.
Classic Projector in a Generator world 😄
When you were born, I didn’t know about Human Design yet.
I was a Generator mum, living in a Generator society, raising a Projector baby…
so of course you learned early on how to keep up, how to hustle, how to juggle a million things at once.
Now you’re grown, surrounded by three Generators in your own family,
working as a psychologist, studying, caring, holding space for others…
and sometimes even resting while driving (only you 😅).

This photo says so much to me:
A Projector trying to find little moments of rest inside a fast world.
Still shining. Still going. Still giving.

If I had known back then what I know now,
I would have protected your rest more fiercely.
I would have reminded you that you don’t need to run to be worthy.
That your wisdom is enough.
That your presence is already medicine.

To all Projectors out there:
You’re not here to keep up with the Generators.
You’re here to guide, to see, to rest deeply,
and to move in your own rhythm.

And to my daughter:
May life keep offering you steering wheels to lean on,
and may you remember that stopping is not falling behind. 🥰

🌑 2026: The Year of the Unexpected Beginning 🌑
(Sun enters Gate 41 – the fuel of new cycles)
When 2026 is born, the Sun ignites Gate 41, the pressure to begin, to dream, to hunger for something new. This is not a year of instant manifestation; it’s a year of desire becoming conscious. Before anything can be built, it must first be imagined… and emotionally digested.

💥 Yearly Type: Projector
This year doesn’t want hustle.
It wants wisdom, perspective, and correct invitations.
2026 says:
“Pause. Observe. Recognise what truly works — and what absolutely does not.”
Trying to force progress will only brew bitterness. The magic happens when the world sees what needs guidance, and invites it in.

💥 Authority: Solar Plexus
No instant clarity.
No impulsive decisions.
This is a year of emotional waves, collective moods, and “let me sleep on it” energy.
Big choices made too fast? Regret.
Choices made after emotional clarity? Success.
Let the wave pass. Then decide.

💥 Profile 1/3 – The Researcher / Experimenter
2026 learns by trial and error.
This is not a polished year, it’s a testing year.
Things may break.
Plans may change.
Mistakes are not failures, they’re data.
Curiosity over certainty is the correct frequency.

💥 Incarnation Cross: The Right Angle Cross of the Unexpected
Surprise is not a bug, it’s the feature.
Collectively, 2026 brings:
• sudden plot twists
• emotional revelations
• unexpected leaders
• sharp turns in direction
What looks like chaos may actually be course correction.

💥 The Core Theme
Before the new cycle truly begins, we must feel:
• what we desire
• what we are tired of
• what is no longer worth the emotional cost
Only then can a new story start.
Mantra for 2026:
“I wait for clarity. I honour my feelings. I allow the unexpected to guide me.”

Welcome to the year where the dream is seeded — not rushed.
The beginning has begun… but it’s moving at emotional speed. 🌒💫

A Human Design chart from 1893

After my last post about the calendar change, I want to share the story that opened this whole door.
My dear friend , a writer and family historian, approached me and asked:
“Can you create a Human Design chart
for my grandmother?
She was born in Russia.
In 1893.”
I felt deeply honoured.
Working with an ancestor’s chart feels different.
There is reverence in it, like entering a memory.
When I received her birth date, something didn’t add up.
Russia was still using the Julian calendar at that time.
Human Design uses astronomical planetary positions based on the Gregorian calendar.
So the date we had - the one she carried her whole life - was not the moment the planets were actually in those positions.
I had to convert her birth date.
When the date shifted, her entire chart changed.
She was a Manifestor.
I paused. It changed the way I looked at the chart.
A woman, born in Russia at the end of the 19th century…
with Manifestor energy.
A design made for initiating,
for freedom,
for carving her own path.
And yet… history tells us
that during that time and place,
women rarely had access to autonomy,
or to their own voice.
Her chart revealed a life force that perhaps could never fully be expressed.
Human Design is not just a chart.
It is:
• lineage,
• ancestry,
• unspoken stories,
• potential that lived inside someone,
• even if their time didn’t allow it.
Sometimes the chart shows us
not how they lived, but who they were capable of being.
And in that recognition,
something heals.

Did you know that some birth dates are… wrong?

When we look at an old birth certificate or a handwritten date,
we assume that date is fixed.
A truth.
A moment in time.
But here’s the twist:
> Not every country used the same calendar.
Until the early 1900s, several countries - including Russia - were still using the Julian calendar.
Human Design, however, relies on the exact astronomical planetary positions,
and those positions are calculated using the Gregorian calendar, which we use today.
That means:
The written birth date of your ancestor
may not be the date the planets were actually in those positions.
In some years, the difference was up to 13 days.
And in Human Design, a changed birth date can completely change the chart:
• Type
• Authority
• Profile
• Channels
• Even the life theme
Time is not as fixed as we think.
And suddenly…
a chart becomes a mystery that needs decoding.
In my next post, I will share how this discovery unfolded
while working on a Human Design chart
for a woman born in Russia in 1893.

“Deconditioning is not easy. It is a fierce process of watching everything you thought was you fall away. But what emerges is authenticity—what you were born to live.” – Ra Uru Hu

When I sculpt, I often begin with something rough, heavy, unformed. Bit by bit, the excess falls away - until the essence reveals itself.

My own deconditioning has felt, and still feels, much the same. A process of stripping away identities, expectations, and stories that never belonged to me. What remains is raw, simple, authentic. And strangely, it feels more alive than all the layers I carried before.

A new chapter begins
For many years I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery through Human Design - first exploring on my own, then diving deeply into studies with wonderful teachers. About a year and a half ago, I returned to the roots of the original Human Design, and it has been such a transformative step.
I’m happy to share that I am now a Living Your Design Guide with the International Human Design School.
For me, Human Design and creativity belong together. In my art and art therapy work, I’ve seen how expression and transformation unfold through colour, form, and story. Human Design adds another layer, a map that helps us live in alignment with our unique nature.
And the journey continues: I’m now on the path toward becoming a certified analyst. I look forward to guiding others into this knowledge, weaving it together with creativity, healing, and discovery.

Creative and Experiential Therapists have tertiary degrees and are members of professional associations. They are recognised members of Australia’s Allied Health Work Force along with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists.

Allied Health Services provided by registered Creative and Experiential Therapists should be distinct from support workers, and classified under capacity building along with other Allied Health Professionals.

Creative and Experiential Therapies belong in the NDIS.
