We at AMPS advocate for an ideal model of support that supports NDIS participants from the LGBTQI community to receive unbiased care regardless of sexuality and gender identity.

AMPS Services understands that members of the LGBTQI community are at increased risk of mental health challenges issues associated with homophobic victimization and minority stress. Many of them struggle with feelings of rejection, shame and depression. They are also the target of trauma, abuse and bullying. Consequently, they experience higher rates of substance abuse, su***de and homelessness.

As AMPS Services, that is staffed by mental health professionals, we strive to provide the best possible support in a way that does not perpetuate the trauma and stigma many members of the LBGQT community grapple with on a daily basis.
