We all carry hurt, anger and sadness. We’ve learnt to structure our lives in a way so that we won’t have to deal with it. We end up living in patterns; patterns that we cling to because they help us live our lives without confronting our pain. But by doing so we limit all that we could experience and be. We end up afraid to move outside our comfort zones for fear of what we’ll be forced to face. Living the same way everyday out of fear leads to loss of direction, a sense of purposeless and can be a cause of depression. When we are unprepared for the curve balls life throws at us, we can become overwhelmed and anxious. Learning to face what you’ve been avoiding develops the strength to live life to the fullest.
