I still eat, live, play today like I’m going to get pregnant tomorrow.

Even though I have no idea if trying for a third is on the cards.

Because I can tell you without a doubt, that preconception care is about so much more than getting pregnant.

It’s a way of life that supports me as a mum, and supports my kiddies health.

Please - don’t put it in the ‘too hard basket’

It’s so worth it.

And I can tell you how it’s done as someone who’s been there twice.

My top fertility advice with the biggest impact…

Yes supplements help, but lifestyle and diet make the biggest difference.

These tips alone have literally helped get my clients pregnant after months of trying with no luck 🥹

- Maximum 1 coffee/day
- Stop having coffee in the morning on an empty stomach
- Start eating a protein rich breakfast everyday within 1 hour of waking. If you’re skipping breaky, that’s a big no-no.
- Eat protein with every meal to balance your blood sugar - eggs, chicken, meat, tofu, fish are the best sources
- Go to bed 1 hour earlier and aim for 7-9 hours sleep
- Use low-tox household and beauty/ skincare/ cleaning products.

I wish our eggs stayed forever young.

Sadly… they don’t 😅

But the good news? We can support egg quality - and I have a pretty solid toolkit for doing exactly that.

I never use all of these nutrients at once. Fertility support isn’t a “throw everything in and hope” situation.

It’s a thoughtful choice of a select few nutrients, based on you - your history, blood work, hormones and overall health.

You’ll see plenty of fertility blends out there with a bit of everything.

I prefer a different approach: fewer supplements, higher-quality doses, and a plan that actually makes sense for your body.

If ovarian ageing is on your mind, I’ve got you 🤍

Let’s talk it through.

How is my baby boy 2 😢

Here are some birth prep tips to celebrate.

I am by no means an expert.

But I’m just sharing what helped me have my dream low-intervention second birth (after a very medicalised first birth)

In no perfect order:

▫️got my pelvic floor sorted so that I could actually RELAX and dilate .physio.pilates

▫️ Read some amazing books - my #1 was birth with confidence by

▫️ Had the most incredible birth doula who helped prepare my husband and I as a team, and was by our side for the later stages of labour and birth.

▫️Listened to lots of podcasts

▫️ Invested in the online class - some amazing interviews on there. Especially the one about breathing. Def came in handy 😅

▫️Listened/ slept through my calm birth meditations most days in the third trimester

▫️ Had labour prep acupuncture + acupuncture in early labour .pawley

▫️ Had 1001 convos with my amazing husband, who was totally on board.

▫️ labour pain management - tens machine.

▫️ Custom herbs - to help prepare my uterus.

Well now that I write it all out it sounds like a a lot. But it was a process.

I don’t relax easily. I’m not a go with the flow person. I like to prepare.

And I’m grateful the second time around that I got to experience my dream birth.

I know preparation doesn’t always equal the end goal. I learned that the first time.

That’s not your fault. That’s birth.

But you can definitely try.

Here are some of my fave goodies for a low-tox summer 🌞

I constantly get asked by my clients/ friends/ mums at school what clean goodies I use for myself and my kids.

So I’ve popped these all in the one place for you on my Vital.ly online store.

If you’re a client who already has a vital.ly account, send me a message and I’ll make sure you can see my full list.

And if you’re not a client but you want to access all these goodies in the one place (and save on shipping), DM ‘Low-Tox Summer’ and I’ll sort you out 🩷

My story 🩷

I lost my period for 1.5 years after coming off the pill.

I was anxious AF, my gut was a mess, and I was awake for hours at night.

I didn’t want children just yet, but I knew it was on the cards for the not-too-distant future.

My Dr told me to go back on the pill. They could give me another pill to make me ovulate when I wanted kids.

This didn’t sit right with me. I knew there had to be a more natural way.

So I did the hard work.

I started exercising less, eating more nutritious foods.

I was consistent with my herbs and supplements.

I got regular acupuncture.

And finally my period returned, and exactly 2 years later I fell pregnant quickly with my first baby.

This journey made me the practitioner I am today.

The person who is obsessed with hormones and fertility.

The person who trusts the bodies capacity to heal.

And I am so grateful that I listened to that voice.

Sharing this because not enough of my clients are eating a proper breakfast before they come to see me

And too many are skipping breakfast altogether (my biggest fertility no-no)

So here are some options for you.

Save them for inspo!

And if you don’t usually eat breakfast, then start small and gradually increase.

I promise your body will eventually start to look forward to breakfast.

About me.

Hi there 👋

I’m Aimee, a degree qualified Women’s Health Naturopath based in Melbourne, Australia 🌸

My mission is to help females achieve menstrual health and optimal fertility with the healing power of diet, herbal medicine and nutrients. Common areas I help with as a Naturopath include endometriosis, adenomyosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and painful or irregular periods. I am also passionate about fertility and supporting the preconception process.

I started my health education journey with a Science degree at Melbourne University where I majored in human physiology. Following this I completed my Naturopathy degree at the Southern School of Natural Therapies.
