Are you a Registered Nurse with experience in Mental Health?

Skilled Nursing is assisting a highly regarded health care provider in Melbourne's inner west to source nursing staff for their well-established Mental Health Unit.

Located just 10km from the CBD, this reputable hospital is situated in a seaside area celebrated for its maritime history and stunning city skyline view.

✨ The Position
· This position is a permanent role for experienced Mental Health Nurses.
· Provide appropriate mental health support, care, treatment and interventions to patients.
· Observe & assess the mental, emotional, physical needs of patients including the identification of "at risk" patients and record with appropriate and accurate documentation.
· Care plan and discharge planning implementation.
· Display nursing skills that will be effective in alleviating patients distress which can manifest in challenging or at risk behaviour.

📋 Essential Requirements
· Current registration with AHPRA.
· Experience & Post graduate qualification in Mental health desirable.
· Sound working Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2014.
· Police & criminal history check.
· Working with Children check if requested.
· Immunisation health clearance prior to employment.
· Sponsorship applications accepted for international applicants.
