If your aesthetic nurse doesn’t assess your anatomy first… that’s a red flag. 🚩
It’s about structure, balance and safety.
Before I treat lips, I assess:
• Proportions
• Smile movement
• Tissue quality
• Previous filler
• And most importantly — vascular anatomy
Your lips contain major blood vessels, including the superior and inferior labial arteries. Knowing where these typically run (and how anatomy can vary) is critical for keeping you safe.
Beautiful lips start with education — not trends.
