Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI's) has been challenging for many decades and the burden it places on society is horrendous, with thousands of lives lost and billions of dollars wasted.

The Covid pandemic has added yet another virus to deal with, but it has also enabled the enhancement of 222nm UV disinfection lights.

These light deliver a form of disinfecting UV-C light that is safe for use in settings occupied by people. This means the lights can be use to destroy infectious germs from the moments it's expelled. Since it does this very quickly, infection transmission is mitigated.

These lights are already being used by Departments of defence and State health departments. Now, we're seeing them being introduced into hospitals to help turn the tide against HAI's.
