After years of treating cats, dogs, and the occasional โ€œI swear itโ€™s not mineโ€ rabbitโ€ฆ weโ€™ve decided to take our skills in a bold new direction.
From today, we are officially becoming a specialist clinic exclusively for left-handed alpacas. ๐Ÿฆ™
Thatโ€™s right. If your alpaca favours its left hoof, struggles with right-handed scissors, or just feels misunderstoodโ€ฆ we are here for you.
Services will include:

โ€ข Emotional support for awkward spitting incidents

๐Ÿฉบ While Dr Penny carried out his examination, Wolfie gently held onto her hand the entire time โ€” making sure she stayed right where he needed her. Safe to say, she didnโ€™t mind being recruited as his emotional support human.

๐Ÿ˜ป Moments like these remind us just how special the bond between our team and our patients truly is. And of course, Wolfie got plenty of pats for being such a brave boy.

Odinโ€™s Road to Recovery ๐Ÿฅ

๐Ÿพ Poor Odin the French Bulldog had a ruff start after suffering a dog bite from a British Bulldog, which unfortunately left him with a fractured jaw.

๐Ÿฉบ Dr Rob stepped in to surgically repair Odinโ€™s jaw, carefully putting everything back where it needed to be. As part of his recovery, Odin later needed one of his canine teeth removed. A procedure expertly performed by Dr Jaqui to help him heal comfortably.

๐Ÿฆด The good news? Odin has been an absolute champion through it all. Heโ€™s now back to his happy self, healing beautifully and, most importantlyโ€ฆ eating like a champ again!

โœจ Weโ€™re so proud of this brave little guy and grateful to have been part of his journey back to feeling his best.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€โš•๏ธ Our vets know the clinic can be a big, unfamiliar place for little ones, so we take the time to meet them where they feel most comfortable โ€” even if that means sitting on the floor for a few cuddles first.

๐Ÿฉบ Dr Mike made a new friend in Hershey, a gorgeous long-haired Miniature Dachshund who was very happy to soak up the attention. Meanwhile, Dr Ben spent some quality floor time with Bruno, a playful Belgian Malinois with plenty of energy and curiosity to share!

๐Ÿพ Building trust with puppies early helps create positive vet visits for life โ€” and letโ€™s be honest, we never say no to puppy cuddles.
