🌡️🔥 Extreme Heat & Fire Safety Reminder 🔥🌡️

Victoria is experiencing very hot weather, with temperatures reaching up to 41°C. During this time, we kindly remind all participants and staff to take extra care.

✔️ Stay well hydrated and drink water regularly
✔️ Remain in cool or air-conditioned areas where possible
✔️ Avoid outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day
✔️ Watch for signs of heat stress such as dizziness or fatigue
✔️ Be mindful of fire danger and follow local safety alerts

Through our cooking and meal preparation service, we promote independence, choice, privacy, and freedom — while ensuring the right level of support is always there when needed. 💜

📘 Evidencing Behaviours of Support: Why It Matters in NDIS Services

As NDIS provider, it’s essential we not only deliver quality care — we must also evidence it. When supporting participants with complex or challenging behaviours, documenting how support is provided is critical for:
✔ Meeting compliance standards
✔ Protecting staff and participants
✔ Justifying funding and support needs

What should be included?
✅ Clear descriptions of the behaviour observed
✅ Specific actions/supports used by staff (before, during, after incidents)
✅ Participant response and outcomes
