Autism ADHD GDD Philippines

Autism ADHD GDD Philippines “Your thoughts influence your emotions, your emotions influence your thoughts.” Hi everyone,

A little about myself. Enough about myself.

I am registered nurse by profession and I have a strong advocacy to help kids with Autism, ADHD and other developmental delays/disorders. I have been helping the community for quite sometime now. I have dedicated myself to educate parents and to give them tools to help their kids. I have a strong interest to learn about how the nervous system works. I have worked with patients in different age groups and it always fascinated me that their body language and the way they speak changes when you know how to talk to them and how to treat them. I find that this strategy has helped me deal with my son as well. I recently embarked on getting a certification with Safe and Sound Protocol and has successfully finished the training. I now have more understanding about each one's nervous system. I am on my journey to learn more about it and on the process of learning Primitive Reflex Integration that can help kids tremendously. I am planning to incorporate this in my service. This advocacy is dedicated to my beautiful son who is now 10 years old. My son was nonverbal and had lots of autistic and adhd traits at 6 years old. He was aggressive, distractive, hyper, very impulsive and had lots of sensory issues specially with hearing, oral and tactile. He also had anxiety which if triggered, all of autistic and adhd features become more pronounced. He had lots of stemming, scripting you name it. We were told that he definitely have autism by pretty much all our therapists. Initially he had a diagnosis of GDD, severe speech and language disorder and highly suspected to have autism. We were due for an ADOS assessment to confirm this. We were moving countries at that time and it took a tiny while for us to get him assessed. Since we were in a long waitlist, I started researching about all sorts of therapies I can try. I also came across some reading about how the gut is related to the brain. My son had therapies since 3 year old but there were only minimal improvements. After we moved countries, I was desperate and started the NEMECHEK PROTOCOL. A very simple protocol that helps the body heal the gut and the brain. Then he had more intense symptoms and he was diagnosed Adhd. My son had lot of gains all of a sudden. It was like a light bulb just turned on in his brain. I came across the Safe and Sound Protocol or SSP and had a few rounds since then with another provider since I have not done the training at that time. SSP is a powerful vagal nerve stimulator. It has 20 years of research and backed up by many specialist all over the world that offer services to help with autism, adhd, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression and other neurological conditions. So together SSP, NP and therapies, most of my sons symptoms are gone and his Paediatrician no longer consider doing an ADOS. At present he still has some anxiety but not as bad. His ADHD has been well controlled and he’s like any neurotypical kid. His severe speech and language disorder diagnosis has been dropped as well. He has lots of friends now. He had zero before doing the stuffs I did. SSP compliments other modalities so I find this a very powerful tool to add his therapies. Until now his gains are still flowing. He also plays soccer now and enjoys it like any other kid. He turned 10 May this year. His Paediatrician and other therapists were so amazed on how much improvement he had in just 4 years. I will be sharing our journey through this paged to give awareness about SSP and Nemechek Protocol. I encourage parents to learn about this and NP since the two augment each other.

Pwede tayong makakuha ng 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 para sa ating mga ausome kids? 🧩💛

Yes — thru 𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗, at every quarter pwede kang maka-avail.
I will not be posting here kung magkano kasi di rin same ang binibigay sa ibang lugar.

Iba-iba ang requirements per area, pero dito sa amin, eto ang mga kailangan:

1. 𝗤𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 from the therapy center kung saan nagte-therapy ang anak ninyo.

2. 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀 from your Developmental Pedia (pwede kahit old assessment or medical certificate). Eto lang ay titingnan ng doctor na mag-issue ng medical certificate sa barangay or city health.

3. 𝗣𝗪𝗗 𝗜𝗗 photocopy (inquire sa PDAO – Persons with Disability Affairs Office).

4. From your 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, get a Medical Certificate with the diagnosis and purpose: “𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱/𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆.” (see sample at the comsec below)

5. Proceed to your Mayor’s Office or Congressional Office to secure a 𝗚𝗟 (𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿).

Bring all documents in three copies each to DSWD for review.

Once complete, same day release ang financial assistance. 🙏✨
