Support, for us, is never just about ticking boxes.

It’s about really getting to know you, what matters to you and what kind of support actually feels right.

We take the time to connect you with services that align with your needs and values with people who genuinely have your best interests at heart.

Our Recovery Coaches work alongside you, building a real understanding of your goals and helping you find the supports that fit your life, not the other way around.

We stay connected, check in, and work closely to make sure you feel supported every step of the way.

Disability Friendly Spotlight: SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium 🐠

SEA LIFE Melbourne isn’t just an amazing day out, it’s a space where people of all abilities can explore.

🐡 Every level of the aquarium is reachable by lift or ramp and wheelchairs are available to borrow on site.
🐧 If you’ve got a valid companion or carer card, your support person gets free general entry when you arrive with them.
🐡 Accessible toilets are near the entrance and on each level and there’s seating everywhere.
🐧 Noise cancelling headphones are offered on entry for anyone who needs them and quieter times (weekdays after 2pm) are recommended for sensory friendly visits.

From penguins and rays to colourful coral zones, SEA LIFE Melbourne makes the wonders of the sea inclusive and fun for everyone.

Have you visited before? What was your favourite part of the aquarium? 🐧🐠

A new year is the perfect time to start fresh and that includes checking in to see if your type of support is still adequate.

Sometimes the support you’ve been relying on doesn’t fit anymore. Goals, needs, and routines can change over time. This is why it’s important your support grow with you.

Take this time to review and make sure your supports are still the right fit.

As an independent Support Coordinator, our only purpose is to match you to the best service for you. We will find you a provider who is like minded and can help you achieve your goals and if you are not happy with a provider, together, we change that.

We’re here to help you find what works.

Disability-Friendly Spotlight: ACMI🎮📺

ACMI is the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and it’s all about celebrating screen culture.

From films to video games it’s designed so everyone can enjoy the experience.

Here’s why we think it’s a top pick for people with disabilities:
🎬 Easy Access: The Flinders Street entrance is the most convenient, and lifts provide access to all levels.

🎬 Accessible Facilities: Toilets are available on two levels, and complimentary wheelchairs are on hand if needed.

🎬 Support for Carers: Carers accompanying Companion Card holders get free entry to ticketed programs, and registered assistance animals are welcome.

🎬 Sensory & Hearing Supports: Relaxed visits and audio-described tours are available, plus free hearing devices for those who need them.

At ACMI, accessibility is about making sure everyone can enjoy the magic of screens, stories, and creativity.

For film buffs and gamer’s this is a must visit!

TJ reunites with Trisha

The last time Trisha worked with TJ was back in 2021 and when Trisha started working with M&A Support Services they lost touch.

Four years later through other services, TJ found where Trisha was working and now with reunited with her favourite Support Coordinator.

TJ is doing really well and has started a childcare course, has three cats and two dogs and lives with her mum in Williamstown.

What a beautiful moment!

Please note our office will be closed on public holidays, with normal services resuming on the next business day.

The festive season looks different for everyone. Some people love the buzz and excitement… and for others, it can feel a little overwhelming. Both experiences are completely okay.

This time of year can come with sensory overload, changes to routine, family expectations, social pressure or even reduced supports while services take a break. If any of that feels familiar, please know this… there’s no “right” way to do Christmas.

🎄Take breaks when you need to.
🎄Say no when something feels too much.
🎄Create a version of the day that feels calm, safe and comfortable for you.

Swipe through for gentle reminders and simple ways to make this season feel a little easier.

And remember, we’re here for you. Your wellbeing always comes first.

The Social Media Ban for under 16s may hit neurodivergent teens harder than we think.

For many neurodivergent young people, social media isn’t just scrolling, it’s a safe space and sometimes a lifeline.

It gives them a space to:
📱 connect in their own way
📱 regulate big feelings
📱 find people with shared interests
📱 be part of a community without having to mask
📱 bring predictability to a chaotic day
📱 support learning, speech or music
📱 find comfort in overstimulating environments

Losing this space can make emotions run high and that’s completely valid. Confusion, frustration, or grief are normal reactions when a safe space is suddenly removed.

Routines get disrupted, and social anxiety doesn’t just disappear with a ban. Many teens may need support finding new ways to connect and navigate this change.

Do you know anyone impacted by the Social Media Ban and how are you navigating these changes?

Do you know the right level of support that you need?

Navigating the NDIS can feel a bit overwhelming sometimes… but that’s where the right support makes all the difference.

Here’s a quick guide:
💜 Support Connection - Perfect if you’re just starting out. Helps you link in with NDIS-funded services and other local support.

💜 Coordination of Supports - Helps you understand your plan and connects you with the services you need to make it happen.

💜 Specialist Support Coordination - For more complex situations. Helps remove barriers and makes sure your supports actually work together smoothly.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

We’re here to guide you along the journey, through the jargon and most importantly to support you.

Reach out to us via our website and let’s have a chat.

Today is International Day of People with Disability and it’s a chance to celebrate the strength, resilience and brilliance of people living with disability in our communities.

We see every day how life-changing it is when someone is supported to live life their way. Independence looks different for everyone and that’s something to celebrate.

This day is about more than awareness. It is about listening, representation and making sure accessibility is the norm, not an afterthought.

To everyone living with disability we are here for you. Your voice, your story and your contribution matter so much.

Let’s keep learning, improving and creating a world where everyone can thrive.
