🇮🇳🏃‍♂️Viksit Bharat Run in Melbourne 🏃‍♀️🇦🇺

The Consulate General of India, in collaboration with the Australia India Diaspora Forum (AIDF), organised the Viksit Bharat Run at St Kilda, Melbourne, on 28 September 2025. The 3.5 km run, held under the inspiring slogan “Run to Serve the Nation” given by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, brought together MPs Hon. Neena Taylor and Hon. Lee Tarlamis, Mr Pradeep Tiwari ,community leaders, dignitaries, and members of the vibrant Indian diaspora.

Led by Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar, the event celebrated fitness, unity, and patriotism, with participants proudly carrying the Indian tricolour. Ayurvedic products by the AYUSH Cell Australia , Ayurveda Yoga Wellness Clinic, Ayurved Organics Pty Ltd, and Ayurveda Organics Pty Ltd, along with cultural displays that highlighted India’s timeless heritage.

The Viksit Bharat Run showcased the spirit of solidarity, national pride, and the diaspora’s commitment to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.

Celebration of the 11th International Day of Yoga�Theme: “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”�Held at the iconic St Kilda Town Hall, Melbourne on Saturday, 21st June 2025!

The event marked a vibrant celebration of yoga’s universal appeal, drawing over 250 yoga enthusiasts from Melbourne’s rich multicultural community. Participants included Parliamentarians, the Mayor, and respected community leaders, reflecting yoga’s growing relevance across cultures.

An energising yoga and meditation session was led by The Art of Living Foundation, creating a shared space for wellness and harmony.

We proudly acknowledge the active participation of the AYUSH Information Cell Australia, Ayurveda Yoga Wellness Clinic, and Abhivyakti Dance Academy, who together promoted holistic health and the benefits of Indian traditional medicine to the broader Australian community.

Congratulations to our Consul General of India, Dr. Sushil Kumar, and his dedicated team for their leadership in organising this successful event.
