It’s been a while since we gave an update. When we first started building HelpMate, we made a promise that we would build in public and bring you all along our journey.

Today we’re sad to announce that we will no longer be working on HelpMate.

Building HelpMate has been an incredibly humbling experience, especially working in an impactful problem space, that is caregiving and dementia. Most of all, we couldn’t have asked for a more passionate, talented, and dedicated team.

While we’re sad to let HelpMate go, we know this isn’t the end. Our team have some new and exciting projects coming. To everyone who has supported us since Day 1, thank you. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Excited to announce the first speaker for our FREE 4-week Caregiver Cohort Program: General Practitioner Dr Janice Tan, MD MPH ⚡️

Dr Tan is a specialist GP and experienced medical advisor to government organisations and digital health companies. Her passion lies in preventive care, mental health and using current advances in digital health to provide more equitable access to quality healthcare. When not consulting in her clinic, Dr Tan works with organisations of different sizes to advise on clinical best practice, governance and strategy.

Dr Tan will be talking us through how to make the most of your GP as a dementia caregiver, and the role of nutrition for the person living with dementia.

HelpMate has created a Caregiver Cohort Program to upskill loved ones into confident caregivers.

The cohort will hear from experts in the dementia space - doctors, experienced caregivers and people living with dementia - and have the chance ask them their own questions.

Our February update is here 🌱

Last month we were focused on developing our team, roadmap, and strategy, whilst polishing our free Post-Diagnosis Action Plan.

We’ve had multiple requests for a US version of our Post-Diagnosis Action Plan, so we'll be learning all things US healthcare and social security to build an action plan for our US customers.
