The City of San Francisco has launched a landmark lawsuit against major food and beverage companies including Coca-Cola and others over the role of ultra-processed foods in rising chronic disease rates.

This isn’t about blaming individuals or banning foods.
It’s about questioning how foods that now make up around 70% of the US food supply are formulated, marketed, and positioned as “normal” everyday choices.
