🛠️ SUNDAY PROJECT VIBES 🛠️

Felix got hands-on this weekend with a mower he picked up — and absolutely nailed it! 💪

Cory guided him through removing the heat shields and plastics, then showed Felix how to take off the pull cord assembly and check for a faulty spring. They also went over how to inspect and clean a spark plug properly.

Cory brought in a few tools from home to help make the job smoother — and Felix loved every minute of it! 🔧

To finish the day off right, they also took Bonnie for a relaxing walk around the block before dinner. 👣🐶

💚 World Cerebral Palsy Day 💚
This one is incredibly close to our hearts.

Ten years ago, my eldest daughter Ava was diagnosed with right-side hemiplegic cerebral palsy. While classified as “mild,” it’s had a profound impact on her life — from surgeries and endless physio and OT sessions to working with personal trainers just to do daily what most of us take for granted.

It hasn’t always been easy — but Ava shows up every day, gives it her best, and keeps pushing forward no matter what. She does it all with heart, strength, and a smile that lights up the room.

Through all the challenges, she’s never let CP hold her back. She’s learned to ride a bike, scoot, swim, and play basketball — side-by-side with able-bodied kids. Her determination is something truly special.

Cerebral palsy is one of the most common physical disabilities, and there’s no cure — just a lifetime of support, strength, and resilience. It can affect one limb or all four, one side or the whole body — but it does not define intelligence or potential.

💚 Let’s use today to raise awareness, educate others, and celebrate the courage and achievements of people living with CP.
To everyone out there living with a disability: we see you, we support you, and we’re with you. 💙
