Josh Lee - Financial Adviser and Fei Kong - Financial Adviser have both been named finalists in The Inside Network's, inaugural INFIN: Future Financial Leaders 40 Under 40 Awards, recognising the next generation of leaders shaping the future of advice in Australia.

Josh is shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year and Strategy Adviser of the Year, recognising his vision, leadership and focus on building better advice experiences for Australians.

Fei is a finalist for Lifelong Learner of the Year, reflecting his obsession with continually lifting the bar for his clients, his peers and himself.

We are incredibly proud to see the work they do for our clients, our team and the profession recognised on a national stage.

It is Movember and the Link Wealth team is getting behind the cause again. Some of the lads are growing questionable mos, some are already regretting their decision, and a few are taking it way too seriously.

All jokes aside, we are doing it for a real reason. Movember raises money and awareness for men’s mental health, su***de prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. These issues hit close to home for a lot of families, clients and mates.

If you see our team sporting fresh facial hair this month, give them a cheer. If you are able to donate, every dollar helps support research, support networks and early intervention programs.

The team had a great time in Sydney to cheer on Gerleen at the Women in Finance Awards.

Seeing Gerleen recognised as a finalist for Accountant of the Year was a really proud moment for all of us.

She works incredibly hard for her clients and our team, and it is great to see that recognised on a big stage.

Super tip: balance matters.

If one partner has $1 million in super and the other has $100k, there’s a simple strategy that could reduce tax in the future and help you stay under the $3 million cap: contribution splitting.

It allows the higher-income partner to redirect some of their contributions into the lower-balance partner’s super account. Over time, this can help equalise your balances and protect more of your retirement savings from future tax changes.

The best part? The $3 million Division 296 tax is calculated per person, not per couple. So spreading the love now could pay off big later.
