Reposted• Many people still don’t really understand what dyslexia is but at least they have heard of it, which is more than I can say for dysgraphia.
“Dysgraphia is a condition that causes trouble with written expression. The term comes from the Greek words dys (“difficulty”) and graphia (“making letter forms by hand”). Dysgraphia is a brain-based issue. It’s not the result of an individual being lazy.”
- Australian Dyslexia Association
My dysgraphia can often be even more challenging for me than my dyslexia.
This infographic shows some of the challenges of dysgraphia and some of the ways you can assist those that may be struggling.

Posted • .net.au 🎗️ 12th-18th October is OCD Awareness Week - aiming to dispel myths about obsessive compulsive disorder, provide education about the disorder and support those affected.

🧠 Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) is when obsessions or compulsions don’t go away, are distressing and interfere with daily life. OCD is a mental health disorder.

👩🏽‍⚕️ Children and teenagers need professional help to manage and recover from OCD.

🫶🏿 You can support children and teenagers with OCD by being involved in their therapy and helping them with relaxation and other strategies.

Posted • Seatbelts, everyone! It’s your teacher here, taking you on a fibre-filled ride of all things ... well, fibre. 🥬⁣

Okay, bus, do your stuff! ⁣

*Whooshing sound, inaudible chatter*⁣

Ahheem ... this is the part where you swipe through. 👉⁣

But first, why are we taking you on this wildly fibrous journey, you ask? ⁣

Research shows most Aussies aren’t hitting their daily fibre intake—25g for females, 30g for males. Eating enough fibre is important to keep the pipes working properly (IYKYK). It also helps reduce your risk of chronic diseases, like type 2 diabetes.⁣

Strap in and enjoy the ride. 🚌 ⁣
