Female Disability Support Worker – Carrum Downs Area

MAAC Care is currently seeking compassionate and reliable female support workers to join our growing team in the Carrum Downs area.

About the Role:You will be providing high-quality, person-centred support to participants in their homes, helping them live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal care, including showering and hygiene support

Medication assistance

In-home support and daily living tasks

Supporting participants with routines and community access

Maintaining accurate documentation and communication

About You:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

Compassionate, patient, and reliable

Strong communication skills

Experience in disability or aged care preferred

Essential Requirements:

Current First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

Current Police Check

Medication competency (or willingness to obtain)

Shifts are 7am-3pm and 4pm-9pm Monday to Friday
Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm and 5pm-9pm
Be local to Nar Nar Goon and accessible
Experienced with supporting care with physical disabilities inclusive of complex bowel and catheter care
Experience with manual handling
Beneficial if staff have nursing background (if possible)
Female (age 25 and over) as per participant request.
Full drivers license and confident to drive a van
Clear Speaking English
Preferred Nationality Australian/English Speaking/not of a CALD background
