The walk will start at Dandenong Market (meet at 10.30am) and end in Harmony Square where we will hear from guest speaker Elvis Martin.

Elvis is a multi-award-winning international speaker, survivor advocate and passionate campaigner for social justice. Elvis will share his journey as a survivor and advocate, helping to raise awareness and foster hope for others impacted by family violence.

Congratulations to Cr Sophie Tan who has been elected Mayor for the coming year and Cr Phillip Danh who has been elected Deputy Mayor.

As Mayor, Cr Tan is committed to serving the community with respect, dedication and integrity.

Cr Tan thanked Cr Jim Memeti for his service as Mayor throughout 2024-25, particularly noting his strong leadership. Cr Danh also extended thanks to fellow councillors and is looking forward to supporting Cr Tan in her new position as Mayor.

Play It Foward encourages you to donate your pre-loved sports equipment as part of Reclink's Sports Share Program. This program gets equipment into the hands of those who need it most.

On the day there will also be activities with local sports clubs, live music thanks to Burke and Beyond, a free sausage sizzle and information on support services like Team Sports 4 All.
