A 4-unit Micro Nexus Bar with metal crowns we produced for a patient in Queensland.

A tricky case with very low occlusal clearance required a combined bar and crown design to create the necessary restorative space, with buccal margins kept below tissue level for the planned zirconia overlay.

Cases like this reflect Osteon's approach to solving complex restorative challenges with practical designs tailored to real-world limitations.

We kicked off the new year in the first week of January with an outstanding sales meeting bringing together our Australia and New Zealand sales team.

With the team flying in from around the country, and our CEO, Tony Susino and our Head of International Sales, Gino DeSimone, joining us onsite in Melbourne, the week centered on strategy and customer satisfaction. Our Commercial Director for ANZ, Julio Rojas, led a series of key presentations, with the team fully engaged across practical challenges, role-plays, and team-building sessions.

We also held offsite training, giving the team hands-on exposure to the latest intraoral scanner and 3D printing workflows in the market.

Overall, a very successful meeting and an exciting start to 2026.

A recent Nexus Hybrid case finished in PMMA, sent out directly to a clinician utilising in their clinic. The arch was designed upon 5 Straumann SRA's from precision data capture using our patented Scan Gauge technology.

This case is very typical of an FP3 style restoration becoming increasingly common across implant dentistry, with the Nexus Hybrid itself as the most common restoration style produced by Osteon Medical.
